The Interdisciplinary Group
The interdisciplinary group (IDG) approach is the core of quality hospice care. Each IDG member has equal input into a patient’s plan of care. Members of the IDG include nurses, physicians, hospice aides, pharmacists, social workers, dieticians, spiritual care counselors, therapists, bereavement counselors and volunteers.
