Your Contributions Make a Big Difference
As a donor to Hospice of Central Iowa, you may sometimes wonder exactly where your dollar is going or how it is allocated.  Whenever a donation is received by Hospice of Central Iowa, it is immediately sent to the Hospice of Central Iowa Foundation.

The foundation was established in 1986 to support Hospice of Central Iowa.  It does so by cultivating, soliciting, managing and providing funds to maintain, improve and advance services to our community.  Part of the mission of the foundation is to practice sound stewardship in its administration of community resources entrusted to its care on behalf of Hospice of Central Iowa.  Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding donations to Hospice of Central Iowa.

If I wish to make a donation to Hospice of Central Iowa, how do I make out my check?

May I make a contribution to a specific program of Hospice of Central Iowa?

May I use a credit card for my donation?
Yes, the Hospice of Central Iowa Foundation accepts Discover, MasterCard and Visa.  Please supply your card type, number and expiration date.

May I make a contribution directly to Hospice of Central Iowa staff members?
No.  Please don't.  All donations should be made to the Hospice of Central Iowa Foundation. Staff members are not allowed to accept compensation from patients, or the families or friends of patients for their services.
